The Gaelic Athletic Associationís (GAA) grounds in Ruislip are to be redeveloped, subject to approval by the Greater London Authority.
The £4.2 million stadium project would see a sheltered stand and terracing built to “bring it up to the level of county standard facilities in Ireland”, a GAA spokesperson said.
Work will begin on site in June. It was originally scheduled to start in September 2014, but planning delays have held up the work.
