The majority of Hillingdon’s children have been offered a place at their chosen primary school.
Hillingdon Council said its primary school expansion project led to 85% getting a place at their first choice of school.
The amount of families who received one of their top three choices of schools is at 95 per cent, despite a rising demand in school places.
Hillingdon Council said it received more applications for primary school places in the last year than ever before, with 4,145 resident applications – an increase of seven per cent compared to the year before.
