The UK's fastest growing data centre provider is moving to a prominent business park in Hayes.
VIRTUS has leased two adjacent units at Prologis Park West, totaling 198,110sq m to operate as data centres.
The buildings were developed speculatively and completed during the summer, with Hillingdon Council granting permission in August to use as data centres.
Prologis is a prominent leader in logistics in the UK, owning and managing about 2,000,000sq m of industrial space.
Both buildings are undergoing fit-out work, and are expected to be ready for use in early 2018.
Managing director of Prologis, Andrew Griffiths, welcomed the arrival: "Along with the rapid expansion of ecommerce, we are seeing a growing demand for data centre space.
"Prologis Park West London offers a secure site with metro fibre connectivity, so it is ideal for the new VIRTUS campus. We are delighted that we were able to offer two high-quality buildings on the park to meet the company's requirements.”
