A former bank premises at the Pavilions shopping centre in Uxbridge High Street will be turned into a branch of coffee and sandwich chain Pret A Manger, after Hillingdon Council approved plans for a change of use.

Natwest had expressed concerns over its future in Uxbridge after the council approved the landlord's planning application to convert it into a restaurant or cafe in May 2017.

The application to change the former bank branch to a restaurant or cafe was submitted to Hillingdon Council by LaSalle Investment Management on behalf of MPTL.
