Residential developer HUB and specialist sustainable and impact investor Bridges Fund Management have completed the Material Store, a private rental scheme (PRS) at The Old Vinyl Factory in Hayes, which began construction in 2014.
Designed by Newground Architects, the development also includes communal amenity spaces featuring a shared podium garden, rooftop terrace, resident party room and children’s playground. Residents will benefit from a concierge service and onsite maintenance crew.
Located a short walk from the new Hayes & Harlington Elizabeth line station, which will provide 20-minute journeys into central London, the development forms part of the wider £250 million, 6.88-ha Old Vinyl Factory regeneration scheme.
Simon Ringer, partner and head of property funds at Bridges Fund Management, said: "There is a real shortage of high-quality lower-cost housing in London. With our development at The Old Vinyl Factory - and our four other lower-cost housing projects across the city - we are now on course to provide more than 1,500 beautiful homes for Londoners in the coming years, all incorporating the latest ideas in sustainable design and construction."
Once completed, the Old Vinyl Factory will include up to 642 homes and 51,097sq m of commercial space, leisure facilities and extensive public spaces.
